Every club keeps its own colours
The Association brings the State's motorsport organisations under one umbrella while preserving the identity and autonomy of each affiliated club. No discipline outranks another; no club outweighs another.

13 disciplines, equal standing
The House resolved that all legitimate motorsport disciplines are treated with equal dignity and respect under the Association.
Rally
Rally competitions, navigation challenges, long-distance expeditions and interstate motorsport exchanges.
4x4 Offroad
A foundational discipline of the motorsport movement in Arunachal Pradesh — off-road competitions, adventure drives, technical driving programmes and trail expeditions.
Road Racing
Circuit and road-based competitive racing.
Drag Racing
Straight-line acceleration competition over a measured distance.
Karting
The entry route into competitive motorsport, and a natural pathway for young drivers.
Motocross
Formally recognised as an important competitive discipline — competitions, rider development, youth participation and technical training.
Enduro
Endurance riding events, trail exploration, technical riding workshops and safety awareness.
ATV / UTV
Emerging disciplines with significant tourism and recreational potential — competitions, training, safety initiatives and tourism-linked experiences.
Inland Water Sports
Water-based motorised activities on the state's river systems, with a dedicated development committee.
Drift
Controlled oversteer competition judged on line, angle and control.
Autocross
Timed competition against the clock around a defined course.
Trials
Low-speed technical riding over obstacles, judged on control rather than pace.
Hill Climb
Timed ascent competition — a discipline the state's terrain is unusually well suited to.

Affiliation
How a club joins AMA
The Association is expanding membership across every district. Emerging clubs, women's initiatives, youth organisations and inland water groups are all explicitly welcome.

Write to the General Secretary
Send your club name, district, disciplines, year of formation, office bearers and approximate membership. Contact details are on the contact page.

Membership & Affiliation Committee review
The committee constituted by the Executive Body assesses applications and may ask for supporting documents.

Executive Body decision
Affiliation is granted by the Executive Body, which functions as the Transitional Executive Authority until the byelaws are formally adopted.

Registration on the roll
An affiliated club carries one vote in the General Body and may hold one Executive portfolio.
Safety & conduct
What a responsible event looks like here
The Association's mandate covers road safety and environmental responsibility. On these roads that is not a slogan — it is the difference between an event and an incident.
Finish before last light
Arunachal sits at the eastern edge of Indian Standard Time, so daylight ends early by the clock. Stages and liaison sections should carry a hard cut-off, not a recommendation.
Plan for no signal
Coverage is a corridor, not a blanket. Sweep vehicles, checkpoint timings and medical response must work without phone contact.
Medical cover on site
The Association carries a Medical & Emergency Secretary and a Safety & Emergency Committee. Cover is arranged per event and named in advance.
Respect the Border Roads Organisation
BRO clears and reopens these roads, often within hours of a slide. Its instructions on the ground override any event schedule.
Tread lightly
Stay on established tracks. Ford rivers at established crossings only. Carry out everything you carry in, including tyre-repair waste.
Villages set the pace
Walking pace through settlements. Livestock, children and dogs use the same road. Where a community asks that an area not be entered, that is the end of the matter.
